Jonathan Lee Brewer, age 38, of Carthage, departed this life on Monday, July 18, 2022 at his home in Carthage, NC.
Jonathan was born on March 28, 1983 in Savannah Georgia to the late Reggie Brewer and to Mary Ann Locklear Brewer. Jonathan was a good son, a father, a brother and a cousin to so many. He was a Native American from the Lumbee tribe.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mother, Mary Ann Brewer; a sister, Rose Mary Hunt, a brother Steven Brewer and his daughter Breanna Rochelle Brewer. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe Wesley Hunt, a sister, Ruth Payne and his father Reggie Brewer.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church in Vass, NC with The Rev. Dr. Bill Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2 at the church prior to the funeral.
