Woodrow N. Boroughs, age 102, departed this life Friday, May 22, 2020 at First Health Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst, N.C.
Due to COVID-19, private funeral services will be conducted later this week at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Southern Pines, N.C.
He was former owner of Boroughs Wheel Alignment in Southern Pines and a WW11 Army Veteran having served in the Pacific.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle McBride Boroughs and is survived by his sons, Nelson Boroughs (Gail) of Seven Lakes, N.C. and Robert Boroughs of Southern Pines, N.C., a daughter, Janice B. Eason (Jim) of Rockingham, N.C. His brothers, Duke Boroughs of Carthage, N.C. Talmadge Boroughs and Otis Boroughs both of Jackson Springs, N.C.
