Lillian Ussery White, age 85, of Carthage, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, surrounded by her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Shelly Dial officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Lillian was born in Rockingham on November 28, 1932 to James and Lillie Gardner Ussery. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Gloria Lefler of Mt. Gilead, Teddy White and wife Jane of Robbins, Barbara White of Carthage; sister, Doris Thomas of Rockingham; grandchildren, Vicki, Ronda, Tim, Roy Lee, David, Cassie; eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore White, Sr.; parents, James and Lillie Gardner White; daughter, Wanda Lee White; granddaughter, Janie.
