Mary Madglene Saunders Campbell, 89, of Derby Rd., Jackson Springs, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at her residence.  Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at West End Baptist Church, with Rev. Robbie Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in the McCallum Cemetery in Candor.

Born on November 7, 1928 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Walter and Minnie Campbell Saunders.  She was a homemaker.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Jefferson Campbell; son, Paul Edward Campbell; 2 brothers, Clarence Saunders and Herbert Saunders; 3 sisters, Martha Saunders Hanna, Carrie Lee Saunders Cranford, and Virgie Saunders-McNeil.

She is survived by 3 sons, James Monroe Campbell of Jackson Springs, William Thomas Campbell (Paula) of Pinebluff, and Jeff Campbell (Terry) of Whispering Pines; 3 daughters, Linda Rose Hulsey (Eddie) of Jackson Springs, Marsha Kay Nachatilo (William) of Spearfish SD, and Kathleen Keeling of Jackson Springs; 2 brothers, Jess Lee Saunders of West End and Dewie Saunders of West End; 3 sisters, Elizabeth Saunders of Thomasville, Blanche Saunders Gibson of West End, and Edna Saunders Sparks of Ohio; 35 Grandchildren; 62 Great-grandchildren; 18 Great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
