Phyllis Cole Patman, 73, of Seven Lakes, N.C. passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018 at First Health Hospice House.

Phyllis was born in Siler City on Sep. 25 1944 to Frances and John Robbins.  She went on to graduate from East Carolina with a teaching degree and then moved to Atlanta. Georgia.  She taught school for 38 years and then went on to retire. She continued to tutor children for many years after. Her focus then became her grandchildren, tennis and other hobbies. Her accomplishments included Teacher of the Year and many tennis championship awards. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to many people.  Phyllis will always be remembered for her sense of humor, willingness to forgive and positive outlook on life.

She is preceded in death by her first husband of 38 years Eddie L. Cole and parents Frances and John Robbins.

She is survived by her husband Bill Patman, daughter Jennifer Cole Pritchett, son in law Jason Pritchett, grandson Pierce Alexander Pritchett, granddaughter Lane Harper Pritchett and stepdaughters Mary and Rebecca Patman.
