One person was injured in a rollover crash after hitting a deer Saturday. The crash occurred just before 9 p.m. on Thunder Road near the intersection with Daybreak Lane, outside Pinebluff.
The driver of the Honda sedan was outside the vehicle, and the car was upside down off the road when first responders arrived at the scene. EMS assessed the driver and transported the motorist to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The deer was killed.
Responding agencies included Pinebluff Fire & Rescue, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Office, and the N.C. Highway Patrol.
