Starworks in Star will open its annual Glass Pumpkin Patch on Saturday, Sept. 20, showcasing thousands of handblown glass pumpkins in a wide variety of colors, sizes, and styles. The event is billed as North Carolina’s largest and longest-running glass pumpkin patch.
Opening day festivities will include live glassblowing demonstrations at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., as well as live music from Jamie Trout between 1 and 3 p.m. Food trucks Bayou in the Pines and Cookies-N-Moore will serve from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Trivia Night will take place at 7 p.m. in the Starworks Café & Taproom.
Admission is free, and no RSVP is required! Proceeds from the Glass Pumpkin Patch will support educational programming and internships at Starworks.
Early access to the collection is available to 2025 Starworks donors who contribute $250 or more. Donors are invited to attend a Pumpkin Preview Party on Saturday, Sept. 13, from 5 to 7 p.m.
