Outside fire engulfs shed, cars, damages home

A fire broke out in a backyard on Saturday around 10 p.m. and quickly spread, engulfing a shed and two cars in Pinebluff.

Multiple fire stations responded, and Pinebluff firefighters were on the scene in minutes, saving a mobile home on Morgan Lane from what could have been much worse.

Initially, the fire was dispatched as an outside fire but was upgraded to a structure fire as it quickly spread and was endangering the mobile home.

When the first fire crews arrived, heavy flames and smoke were showing from the shed and two vehicles.

The shed and cars were destroyed, and the home had some exterior damage. No injuries were reported.
