A driver was unharmed after crashing into a tree in Cameron on Wednesday around 8:30 a.m.
According to first responders, a driver of a Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling north on U.S. Highway 15/501 when two vehicles ahead began to slow down to make a left turn onto Cannon Road. The driver could not stop in time, swerved to the right, and crashed head-on into a tree.
One lane of U.S. Highway 15/501 was closed while first responders worked to clear the scene.Â
The Moore County Sheriff Department, the State Highway Patrol, and the Cypress Pointe Fire Department responded to the single-vehicle crash.
