A Pinebluff man is in custody in connection with a triple homicide investigation following the discovery of three dead individuals at a Pinebluff home Wednesday morning.
At approximately 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12, Moore County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 100 block of Ryder Cup Boulevard in Pinebluff, where three adults were found deceased inside a residence. The deaths appeared to be the result of homicide.
“During the course of the investigation, Demetrius Louis Aggelis, 40, of Pinebluff, was identified as a suspect,” said the Moore County Sheriff. “Evidence obtained through the Flock Safety camera network, along with other evidence gathered in the case, played a significant role in identifying Aggelis.”
He is currently in custody and is being charged with three counts of murder and one count of first-degree burglary.
The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Information about how the victims died is not being released at this time. Other details about the crime scene and evidence are also being withheld to protect the integrity of the investigation.
