Around 1 p.m. on Thursday, a motorist traveling east on Highway 24/27 near Big Oak Church Road outside of Eagle Springs flipped his car. According to authorities on the scene, the driver of the Saturn SUV took the turn too fast and rolled his vehicle, which landed upright.
The car’s windshield was shattered in the upper corner on the passenger side, and the front end sustained damage.Â
The driver, who was the only occupant, suffered a cut to his hand.
Westmoore Fire Department, Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, and State Highway Patrol responded to the scene.
