The SCC Jazz Band, the “Sound of Swing in the Sandhills,” will hold a concert on Monday, June 2, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Please join the band for “A Swingin’ Summer: Count Basie Meets the Beatles!”
The concert will feature Basie favorites including “Jumpin’ at the Woodside,” “Two O’clock Jump” and “April in Paris,” along with several Beatles songs such as “Lady Madonna,” “Come Together,” and “We Can Work It Out,” plus other tunes you are sure to enjoy.
The event will be held at Sandhills Community College’s Owens Auditorium, 395 Airport Road, Pinehurst.
This is a free event and open to the public.
Refreshments will be available for purchase. Items purchased at BPAC Concessions may be taken into the theater. No outside food or drink is permitted.
