SCCS opens new Arts & Athletic Center

Sandhills Classical Christian School held a ribbon cutting and dedication for its new Arts & Athletic Center. The 31,000-square-foot building has a brick-and-block front with a middle section of glass-panel windows. The county will issue a certificate for occupancy in 10 days.

After the eighth graders sang Sing with Jubilation and the seventh graders recited Longfellow’s “The Builders,” Development and Marketing Director Gene Liechty read Psalm 111.

“We are thankful for the people whose shoulders we stand on today,” Liechty said about the school’s development.
