Six people were arrested Thursday following the execution of a search warrant in the 500 block of Possum Holler Road in Eagle Springs.
During the search, detectives with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office reportedly seized suspected fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, alprazolam, clonazepam, amphetamine, buprenorphine hydrochloride, and drug paraphernalia.
As a result, six individuals are now facing charges.
Heather Locklear, 65, of Eagle Springs, is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances, multiple counts of simple possession of controlled substances, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held under a 48-hour hold with no bond.
Monica Boyd, 50, of Candor, is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia and received a $7,500 secured bond.
Kiah Boyd-Coleman, 24, of Eagle Springs, is facing charges of simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and received a $1,500 unsecured bond.
Destiny Ritter, 23, of Biscoe, is facing charges of felony possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance, and paraphernalia offenses, and received a $15,000 secured bond.
Reno Ramchand, 45, of Eagle Springs, is facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and is being held under a 48-hour hold with no bond.
John Newman, 36, of Asheboro, is facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and received a $1,500 secured bond.
All defendants are scheduled to appear in Moore County District Court on February 26 and are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
