SpringFest is arriving in Southern Pines this Saturday. It will be a day full of fun with arts, crafts, games, rides, food, entertainment, and the annual Youth Bike Races.
To prepare the streets for all the vendors and games, Southern Pines Police Department is reminding citizens of street closures.
Both sides of Broad Street between Pennsylvania Ave. and Connecticut Ave. will be closed from 4 a.m. – 6 p.m. East and West New Hampshire Avenues between Ashe Street and Bennett Street will also be closed. The municipal parking area at 135 West New Hampshire Ave. will be closed as well. These locations will be designated as no parking/tow away zones.
“Vehicles parked in these areas are subject to towing at the owners expense,” said Southern Pines Police Department in a written message.
SpringFest is a free, family event and is being held on April 27 in downtown Southern Pines from 10 am – 4 pm.
