The Town of Aberdeen opened the comment period for the water and sewer system development fees.
Please click here to find the Town of Aberdeen’s System Development Fee Analysis and proposed fees related to such study. These fees are not part of customers’ monthly rates but are charged for new developments or additions to existing developments. This study considers amended system development fees to support the town’s water and sewer facilities under House Bill 436 and as amended.
The Board of Commissioners is scheduled to hold a public hearing on this analysis and to consider adopting the proposed fees on Monday, Oct. 28, beginning at 6 p.m., at Aberdeen Town Hall, 115 N. Poplar Street, Aberdeen. Should you wish to provide written comments on this analysis, you may do so in three manners:
