The Aberdeen Police Department announced the arrest of Tanajah McDonald, 31, and Ceandra McDonald, 29, of Fayetteville.
On Oct. 21, Aberdeen officers responded to a business near Johnson Street and Highway 15-501 about two larcenies that previously occurred on Oct. 17 and 19.
Aberdeen Investigators obtained video surveillance that led to the identification of Tanajah and Ceandra McDonald through incidents previously reported in and around the Fayetteville area.
After confirming their identities, warrants were obtained on Ceandra McDonald for felony larceny, felony conspiracy, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor conspiracy, and misdemeanor concealment of goods and Tanajah McDonald for felony conspiracy, misdemeanor concealment of goods, misdemeanor conspiracy, and misdemeanor larceny.
Attempts were made to locate them, but they were not located in Moore County. On Nov. 18, Tanajah and Ceandra McDonald were arrested in Cumberland County and taken before a Cumberland County magistrate. Ceandra McDonald was given a $4,000 unsecured bond, and Tanajah McDonald was given a $2,500 unsecured bond.
