Two from Laurinburg accused of stealing from Aberdeen employer

Two former Aberdeen Walmart employees are facing felony charges. N’diasia Crosland, 19, of Laurinburg, was arrested and charged with felony larceny by an employee, felony possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. Fantasia Terry, 19, of Laurinburg, was arrested and charged with felony larceny by an employee, felony possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods.

Aberdeen Police Chief Brian Chavis said his officers were called to Walmart on Turner Street on Nov. 22 due to multiple larcenies that previously occurred. 

“Upon arrival, officers were advised that an employee, identified as Crosland, had stolen multiple items at various times, both while on duty and after clocking out of work,” said Chavis in a press release. “Officers investigated the allegations by reviewing video surveillance, and obtaining statements.”

Chavis said the alleged thefts occurred on Sept. 28, Nov. 2, and Nov. 8.

Officers were called back to Walmart on Nov. 24.

The alleged thefts occurred on Nov. 5, 10, 11, and 12.
