Vass crash sends two people to hospital

A crash in Vass on Monday at noon sent two people to the hospital.

U.S. 1 Business at James Street was down to one lane, causing the lunchtime traffic to be delayed.

Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue Department arrived on the scene to find a two-vehicle collision with heavy damage. Both vehicles, a GMC Terrain and a Ford Focus, had air bag deployment and were only occupied by the drivers.

Moore County EMS evaluated both female drivers and subsequently transported them with non-life-threatening injuries to FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.
