Vehicles roll, strike pole in Seven Lakes crash

A crash involving two vehicles blocked part of N.C. 211 in Seven Lakes on Tuesday evening.

Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue responded to the crash around 6:40 p.m. at the intersection of Seven Lakes Drive and North Carolina Highway 211.

Authorities with Seven Lakes Fire and Rescue said one vehicle, a Jeep, rolled onto its side during the collision, while a second vehicle continued through the initial crash and struck a pole. The Jeep came to rest on its side in the middle of the roadway, blocking traffic.

Crews used rescue struts to stabilize the vehicle to prevent it from rolling onto its roof while emergency personnel worked at the scene.

One vehicle flipped, and the other continued through the intersection, where it struck a pole.

Traffic was delayed as firefighters assisted Moore County EMS in treating patients and clearing the roadway.

Authorities did not release patient information or conditions.
