man arrested stealing landscaping equipment

A West End man was arrested Monday for stealing landscaping equipment, according to a statement from Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields.

Fields announced Wednesday deputies arrested Evan Rin Saunders, 31, for allegedly breaking into a West End business and stealing the equipment on May 26.

The sheriff’s department was notified of the breaking and entering with “multiple items of landscaping equipment” being stolen.

Saunders was arrested as a result of an investigation. Authorities “were able to recover several stolen items.”
 
The suspect was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen goods.

He was placed under a $5,000 secured bond at the Moore County Detention Center, has a July 8 court date, and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
