A West End woman is accused of stealing $15,000 worth of property from a Moore County home.
Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announced the arrest of Ashley Renee Cook, 28, on Friday.
“On August 14th, 2020, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a larceny from a residence in Seven Lakes,” said Fields in a news release. “After further investigation, Detectives were able to recover $15,000 worth of property and arrest the individual responsible for the theft.”
Cook was charged Friday with one count of felony larceny and one count of possession of stolen goods.
The release did not state what was allegedly stolen.
Cook’s bond was set at $10,000. She has an October 1 court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
