'Who you gonna call?' Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire showing at Sandhills 10

Who you gonna call to go see the year’s biggest movie Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire?

Carolina Cinemas-Sandhills 10 Theater is bustin’ out with a screening party Saturday, March 23, starting at 4 p.m. Keymasters, gatekeepers, and Venkman wannabes are welcome to wear their best cosplay for a costume contest. Enjoy giveaways, concession keepsakes, and Insta-worthy photo props, including a 12-foot-tall Stay Puft marshmallow man. Be on the lookout for ECTO-1 cruisers and score a free poster.

Stars Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, and McKenna Grace return as the new boo crew. This time, they’ll return to the fire station from the original movie, where they will join the old gang for some next-level ghostbusting.

Fans of the original Ghostbusters will be happy for the return of cast members Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, and Ernie Hudson. Egon Spengler, played by Harold Ramis, was posthumously included in Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Movie creators used original film and advanced technology to create Ramis’ onscreen presence. Spengler’s grandchildren, introduced in Afterlife, will carry on his legacy.

This time, they’ll face frozen terror and an army of ghosts. Ancient artifacts, malevolent forces, and secret research labs are all part of the hilarious adventure, but they ain’t ‘fraid of no ghosts.

The movie is sure to be a hit, with top casting and storyline. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire coincides with the 40th anniversary of the release of Ghostbusters. It was produced by Jason Reitman, son of original producer Ivan Reitman.

Reserve your seats at Carolina Cinemas-Sandhills 10, to guarantee your place at the party. For those who want a sneak peek, the theater will offer showings of the movie starting Thursday, March 21.

Carolina Cinemas offers state-of-the-art screening, reclining seats, and online reservations. Choose from a selection of 100+ sodas, or beer, wine, and cider.

Time to charge your proton packs and head to the theater. And remember, no crossing the streams. Carolinacinemas.com
