Residents of Woodlake experienced unexpected delays in traffic on Friday afternoon after two vehicles collided at the Riverbirch Drive and Greenbriar Drive intersection.
According to Chief Cameron of Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue, the crash occurred around 4 p.m. when a passenger car and an SUV collided in the roadway.
No injuries were reported as a result of the wreck.
The roadway was blocked until debris could be cleared, with crews from Moore County EMS, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, and Cypress Pointe Fire and Rescue responding to the scene.
The collision is under investigation by the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
