Barbara Ann Hinesley was born in Rockingham County, NC on May 10, 1943 to the late Ruby White.  Barbara grew up in Moore County and worked as an employee of Proctor Silex and Pinebluff Products before being employed as a daycare teacher at Calvary Christian School.  For many years, Barbara worked side-by-side with Jerry, her husband of 48 years, in their business, Hinesley Heating and Air.

Barbara received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior as a young woman, and faithfully served the Lord as a member of Calvary Memorial Church in Southern Pines.  Surrounded by family and friends, Barbara went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019.

The funeral service will be held at Calvary Memorial Church at 10am on Saturday, July 6, 2019.  Visitation will precede the service, beginning at 9am.  At other times, visitation will be at the home of Ged and Pam Taylor in Aberdeen.  Internment at Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen, NC will follow the funeral service.

Barbara is survived by four children: Pam (Ged) Taylor, Mike (Dawn) Hinesley, Tina Cole, and Dina (Wayne) Smith, all of Moore County, 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. 

Barbara is also survived by sisters Lorna “Cookie” (Roger) Salisbury, and Louise Wheeless, one brother Benjamin (Teresa) White, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby White, her husband, Jerry Hinesley, and one infant daughter, Gerri Ann.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Calvary Christian School Scholarship Fund.
