A driver sustained minor injuries after their car flipped multiple times outside of Vass on Tuesday.

Crains Creek Fire Department said on its Facebook page they were dispatched to the single-vehicle wreck on Highway 690 near McGill Road around noon. 911 dispatchers were checking on the status of a medevac; however, the helicopter was not needed.

“Upon arrival of engine 232, the vehicle was found on its wheels in the middle of the west bound lane,” said Crains Creek Fire Department. “The driver was out walking around with minor injuries.”

Motorists were detoured to McPherson and McGill roads.

Moore County Sheriff’s Department, EMS, and State Highway Patrol were also on the scene.
