Healogics is a nationwide affiliation with 300 centers, and Central Carolina Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center’s Director Dellena Sellars said there are seven million people with open wounds that need healing.

The center offers five types of treatment, including debridement, pressure relief, tissue-growing therapies, negative pressure therapies, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT).

HBOT encourages new cell growth in a pressurized oxygen-rich environment. Patients spend about two hours in the process and may sleep or watch television and experience no pain.
