Area law enforcement agencies participated in a multi-agency Region 6 Traffic Task Force Checkpoint.
Candor Police Department held the checkpoint on Monday which resulted in 75 charges between 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., announced the town of Candor.
Participating agencies included Vass, Cameron, Foxfire, Seagrove, Norwood, Laurinburg, Biscoe, Lee County Sheriff’s Department and the Booze it and Lose it Bus.
The charges consisted of:
No Operators License – 30
Driving while License Revoked – 16
Registration – 8
Inspection – 2
Window tint – 1
Learner permit violation – 1
Child safety seat – 2
Insurance – 3
Paraphernalia – 2
Drugs – 2
Allowing unlicensed driver – 2
Seatbelt – 1
Fictitious Tag – 1
All other violations – 4
