Barbara Shepherd, with Animal Advocates of Moore County, is advising the public to keep their cats and small dogs inside because of a coyote sighting on Highway 5 in Aberdeen.
The coyote was spotted Thursday morning around 10:30 a.m. crossing over Highway 5 and running behind area warehouses.
Shepherd stated on social media, “He was lean and hungry.”
