Crews respond to rollover on Lobelia Road

First responders were dispatched early Thursday morning to an accident in Vass.

Crains Creek Fire Department said on its Facebook page the accident occurred on Lobelia Road near Vicky Lane.

When units arrived on the scene, the driver was out of the vehicle.

The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Crains Creek Fire Department.

The passenger vehicle rolled over.

The front part of the car was off the road, but the rear of the vehicle was blocking the street.

The car suffered extensive front-end damage with a shattered windshield.

Moore County EMS, Moore County Sheriff’s Department, and North Carolina State Highway Patrol assisted Crains Creek Fire Department.
