Drug investigation nets four arrests

Four people from Robbins were arrested by deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Department on drug charges.

Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields said in a news release the arrests were made on Wednesday.

“On September 22nd, 2021, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 200 block of Jim Road in Robbins,” said Fields. “The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of a drug investigation.”

Arrested were Terry Williams, Savanna Davis, Ray Cozart, and Dakota Baxter. 

Davis, 29, and Cozart, 52, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. They each received $5,000 secured bonds. 

William, 54, and Baxter, 25, received $1,000 unsecured bonds and were both charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

All four suspects are expected in court on Oct. 13 and presumed innocent until proven guilty.
