A person sustained minor injuries after being shot early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the Community Road area of Eagle Springs, following a party.
“A vehicle that was leaving the party was struck by a projectile,” said Major Eric Galloway with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office to Sandhills Sentinel.
The driver was able to reach the West End area and then called 911.
“An occupant of the vehicle was treated for minor injuries,” said Galloway.
Information about the victim and the shooter has not been released, and the incident is being investigated by the Moore County Sheriff’s Office.
