Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Foxfire Village Water Utilities customers will have a water rate increase, announced the Village on its website. Although this increase is effective Jan. 1, customers will not see it until their February water bill.
The Village noted that water usage rates have not increased since 2014. This increase is needed to meet rising operational and maintenance costs and necessary capital improvements.
The Village Council unanimously adopted the following water rates at their Nov. 12 meeting.
0 to 3,499 gal. $24.00 flat rate
3,500 to 6,999 gal. $7.15 per each additional 1,000 gal.
7,000 to 11,999 gal. $8.40 per each additional 1,000 gal.
12,000 to 15,999 gal $12.00 per each additional 1,000 gal.
16,000 to 24,999 gal. $15.60 per each additional 1,000 gal.
25,000 and up $18.20 per each additional 1,000 gal.
