The Town of Aberdeen has confirmed Harbor Freight is coming to Aberdeen.
According to Aberdeen Planning Manager Justin Westbrook, the plan is for a 15,815 square foot store. The store is being built at the old location of Mt. Fuji in the Town and Country shopping center on U.S. Highway 1.
Currently, no building permit has been issued, but demolition of the vacant Mt. Fuji building is completed. A site plan has been submitted and is in the process of being evaluated, Westbrook stated.
Craig Hoffman, director of corporate communications of Harbor Freight, said, “target opening is sometime in early to mid-fall 2022.”
Harbor Freight is a privately held tool and equipment retailer headquartered in Calabasas, California, which operates a chain of retail stores and a mail-order and e-commerce business.
