Legacy Golf Links holds food drive Aberdeen Elementary

Legacy Golf Links recently held an Aberdeen Elementary School food drive. Local golfers received a discounted rate at the Aberdeen course when they brought snacks to donate during the month of February. The program was so successful, it was extended into the first week of March.

Legacy Golf Links invited the school principal and the Aberdeen mayor to the course on February 25.

Upon the arrival of Aberdeen Elementary School Principal Dante Poole and Mayor Robbie Farrell, the clubhouse had an amazing food donation waiting for Poole.

Poole and Farrell were also there to discuss other ways this collaboration could help the community during a lunch prepared by Legacy Golf Link’s restaurant, the Bear’s Den.

“This was a great opportunity for two very influential leaders of our great community to meet with a local business,” said one of the food drive organizers. “We continually look for ways to help support our growing town.”
