Vision 4 Moore announced the lineup for the Cooper Ford Concert Series.
Join Vision 4 Moore on Saturday, April 20, for an outdoor concert with Moore County’s own Shoppe Girls opening the show for DEPARTURE — The Journey Tribute Band at Moore County Airport. In their 15th year together, DEPATURE is the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation. DEPARTURE replicates the look, sound, and feel of the original 80s rock super group, Journey.
These veteran musicians love what they do and have developed amazing onstage chemistry. They pride themselves on giving their audience an incredibly high-energy, qualitative stage show from start to finish. Dressed in the iconic tuxedo jacket, DEPATURE lead vocalist, Brian Williams, has an amazing singing voice, flawlessly matching Steve Perry’s vocal range and onstage movements. This event will benefit The Moore County Citizens’ Pet Responsibility Committee and The Sandhills Spay Neuter Veterinary Clinic.
On Sunday, Sept 15, at the Pinehurst Fair Barn, join in for a night of romance, candlelight, and rhythm as Vision 4 Moore hosts Peter Lamb and the Wolves, a renowned jazz band that will enchant you with their melodies. Whether you want to sway with your partner on the dance floor or enjoy the music from your seat, you will have a memorable experience.
Peter Lamb and the Wolves is a band dedicated to making captivating and funky music in a jazzlike style. They play their original tunes but also play unique arrangements of classic jazz standards, old school R&B like Ray Charles and Professor Longhair and other strange melodies ranging from classic French Waltzes to blazing fast renditions of modern classics like the theme to Super Mario and the Legend of Zelda. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Linden Lodge Foundation.
Sunday, Oct. 27, Vision 4 Moore welcomes back Paperhand Puppet Intervention, an award-winning puppet troupe, out of central NC for an afternoon full of puppetry magic, music and fun. Vision 4 Moore listened to feedback and will host this performance inside the R.E. Lee Auditorium at Pinecrest High School, where the seating is tiered.
This showcase performance features many of Paperhands’ fantastical creatures and characters. Animals of all shapes and sizes fill the stage and beyond in a beautiful flow of creativity and joy. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity for the whole family to share inspiration and wonder. Proceeds from the event will benefit Sandhills Coalition for Human Care.
