The Village of Whispering Pines Fire Rescue Department will host the American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver CPR/AED Training on May 11 at 9 am.

This Heartsaver course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training to be prepared for an emergency. Registration is now open for the video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use.

Participants will also learn infant CPR and how to relieve choking adults, children, and infants. To successfully pass the CPR-AED course, participants will be required to practice and demonstrate CPR skills on both adult and infant manikins.

Please wear comfortable clothing.

Seats are limited and will be filled in the order that registrations are submitted. Once all seats are filled, a waiting list will be created.

• Participants must be a Village of Whispering Pines resident.

• Participant must be 14 years of age older.

• The event is free, but there is a $20 refundable deposit to reserve a seat. Deposit must be paid by Wednesday, May 8, 2024 with a check or cash.
