A motorcycle accident on Valley View Road in Southern Pines resulted in the driver, a Southern Pines resident, being airlifted Thursday evening.
Emergency crews were paged around 7 p.m. to a single-vehicle accident on Valley View Road just prior to the May Street intersection.
