Law enforcement confiscated methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia after a search in Carthage on Thursday, Oct. 21, said Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields in a news release.
Twenty-two-year-old Cameron Callicutt, of Carthage, was arrested as a result of the drug investigation.
“Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office, with the assistance of the Southern Pines Police Department, executed a search warrant in the 4300 block of Niagara-Carthage Road,” said Fields.
The suspect was placed at the Moore County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond.
Callicutt was charged with possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
He is due in court on Nov. 18 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
