After a Whispering Pines resident left a blower in their driveway during a day of yard work last week, an employee of a Fayetteville debris removal company stole the piece equipment while working in the area, according to a news release from the Whispering Pines Police Department.
The suspect was “stopped during a traffic stop by Senior Officer McNeill and Senior Officer Holt and was in possession of the stolen blower.”
Timothy Tywon Wright, 34, from Robeson County, was charged with misdemeanor larceny and possession of stolen goods.
The release did not state the name of the debris removal company.
Wright has a court date for July 25 and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
