The 8th Annual Celebration of the Military Child was held at The Village Arboretum in Pinehurst Saturday afternoon.
Blue skies provided a perfect day for our military families and friends. Children had fun riding ponies, playing video games, jumping in bouncy houses, riding a train, and playing corn hole. The 82nd Airborne Chorus were there to entertain as well as a strolling magician. The BBQ was fired up to serve hamburgers and hot dogs to complete the day.
The fun-filled afternoon was co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of the Sandhills. Sandhills Sentinel thanks our military and families for their service and sacrifice.
