Chicken Salad Chick in Southern Pines opens on Dec. 18 at 10:30 a.m.
“We couldn’t be more excited, which is why we’ve planned a week of giveaways as part of our Grand Opening Celebration!” announced the restaurant on Facebook.
The first 100 guests on opening day will receive free chicken salad for a year.
“An early arrival is highly recommended for guests seeking to be counted as one of the first 100,” said Chicken Salad Chick. “Each guest will be assigned a number corresponding to their place in line when they arrive by a member of the Chicken Salad Chick team beginning at 8 a.m. The first 100 guests must remain in line until the restaurant opens and download the Chicken Salad Chick app. Wi-Fi will not be available on site. Once the restaurant opens, guests will make a purchase of “The Chick” or anything of greater value and enter a code in the Chicken Salad Chick app to officially secure your spot. If a guest leaves the line for any reason, their spot will be awarded to the next guest in line. Not eligible in the drive-thru. Guests will receive their first free Large Quick Chick electronically to your app the Monday following Grand Opening Day.”
According to its website, the chicken salad is made from scratch each day.

At Chicken Salad Chick, you’ll feel the same warmth and comfort you would feel enjoying a meal in the home of a gracious friend.”
The restaurant is located in the Morganton Park South shopping center at 209 Carolina Green Parkway in Southern Pines. Hours are Monday – Saturday from 10:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
