A multi-agency operation has yielded the arrest of a Southern Pines man Thursday.
Moore County Sheriff Deputies, Southern Pines Police, Pinehurst Police, and Moore County Probation conducted a search with an obtained warrant at the 200 block of North Hardin Street in Southern Pines, according to information released by the sheriff’s department.
Ronald Terrell Barnes, 30, who lives at the searched home, was arrested after the agencies seized 282 grams of marijuana, various items of drug paraphernalia and an undisclosed amount of cash. Barnes was placed under a $100,000 secured bond.
The total street value of the seized drugs is approximately $2,450.

Barnes was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled-substance, felony possession of schedule VI controlled-substance, maintaining a dwelling for the storage of a controlled-substance and the possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.
The suspect has a July 24th court date and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
