Billy C. Poe, 81, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Monday, March 25, 2019 at Putnam Friends Church, where he was a member, conducted by Reverend Robert Kidd and Reverend Billy Joe Brady. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2:00 PM.
Billy was a native of Moore County and a graduate of High Falls High School, Class of 1957. He retired from Mansion Homes Inc. after 32 years of service. Billy was a loving son, husband and father. He was the son of the late Elvin and Bemon Foster Poe. He was preceded in death by a sister: Flora Ann Hinsley.
Billy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet; daughter: Lisa Toler and husband Tracy, of LaGrange, Ky.; brothers: Bobby Poe, Lewis Poe and wife Wanda; nieces, nephews and many friends.
