Mr. Ciscero Carpenter, Jr., 80, of Southern Pines, NC, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 12:00 Noon, First Missionary Baptist Church, 315 South Gaines Street, Southern Pines, where he was a member.
Walk-Through Viewing: Wednesday, December 29, 2021, 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, at the church.
Mask and social distancing are required for these indoor events.
Interment: Woodlawn Cemetery, Southern Pines.
Mr. Carpenter was employed by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, from which he retired, and he was a US Navy retiree.
Survivors: Sons, Lt. Col Jerry Carpenter, USMC (ret) and wife, Crystal, Gregory Carpenter and wife, Danette, and UT1 Jeffrey Carpenter, USN (ret) and wife, Venice; daughter, Learen Blue; grandchildren; and other relatives.
