Douglas Roberson Stalls, Jr. of Carthage, NC passed away on January 6, 2022 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on January 15th with a visitation to follow at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines, NC with Rev. Scott Homesley officiating. A private burial will follow at a later date.
Doug was born on January 8, 1961 in New Orleans, LA to the late Douglas Roberson Stalls, Sr. and Alma Poole Stalls. Doug was a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and recently retired from the Moore County School system following a career as an educator. Doug was an avid reader, gardener, martial artist, and a lover of all animals. His interests were as broad as his vocabulary.
Doug is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rosanna Lynn Morrison Stalls and son Aran Alexander Stalls. Doug is also survived by brother Donald G. Stalls (Sonya) of Vass and sister Jeannie Stalls Westbrook (Ray) of Asheboro, NC. and numerous nieces and nephews.
