Florence Elizabeth “Ann” Bryant Haskell wife of the late Stephen Lee “Cat” Haskell of North Carolina, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospital.
Born September 3, 1945 in New Bern, North Carolina, she was the daughter of late Icelean V. Bryant and Woodley O. Bryant.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 26 at 3:00 pm at Boles Funeral Home in Southern Pines, NC. Interment to follow services at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Southern Pines, NC.
She was raised in New Bern, NC where she attended high school and later went to Fayetteville State. She also attended Durham Business College where she graduated in 1968.
She was a seamstress, bus driver, and an artist. She married Stephen Lee “Cat” Haskell in 1967 in Durham NC where they met while in school. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and best friend. She was beautiful, wise, giver, supportive, strength and inspiration, and one-of-a- kind. She never met a stranger or anyone that she wouldn’t help. She was honest, loving, and caring with a large forgiving heart.
She leaves to cherish found memories: children Stephen Lee Haskell Jr. (Precious Haskell) Aberdeen, NC; Stephenie Latoya Haskell of Aberdeen NC; Stevenson Lee Haskell (Erica Haskell)
of Vass, NC; Also, eight grandchildren; Tianna Haskell, Iasia Goins, Stephen L. Haskell III, Jayelyn Haskell, Brandon Haskell, Beyoncia Haskell, Bradlee Haskell, Isaiah Campbell, Stevenson Haskell Jr., and Aaliyah Haskell; one great granddaughter; Aubrey Lee Ann Haskell; Siblings; Annestine Bryant and Woodley Bryant Jr; Three nephews; Shernard Bryant, Harold Bryant (Tameka P Mays-Bryant), and Woodley McConner; one niece; Verona Bryant and a close family friend, Tanya Tupaz.
