Mr. George D. Simpson, 96, of Southern Pines, North Carolina, died Saturday, May 9, 2020, at St. Joseph of the Pines, in Southern Pines, North Carolina.
No service will be held.
Mr. Simpson served in the US Navy and was awarded a World War II Victory Medal.
He is survived by his daughter, Edith Lee, and son-in-law, Howard Szczech; brother-in-law, Cecil Brandon and his wife, Evelyn; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
