Robert T. Jones of Vass, N.C., born 1/6/40 to Robert and Ester Jones in Poughkeepsie, NY. passed away on 11/21/2023 in Pinehurst, NC.
He graduated from St. John’s University with his undergraduate degree and from Long Island University with his master’s degree. He worked for Westvaco Corporation until his retirement. He lived in Staten Island, NY and Middletown, NJ until moving to NC upon his retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years P. Wendy Jones (nee Evancik), his son Robert Jones (Carmen) of Pinehurst, NC, his stepdaughters, Lori Adam (Gerry) of Medford, NJ and Sherry Brendel of Cameron, NC; his grandsons Robert and Max Jones, Bradley Adam, Zachary Adam (Caroline), Michael Adam (Angela) and Kelsey Zickefoose (Corey) as well as three great-grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Virginia and his sisters Kay and June.
