Sandra “Sandy” Ann Bennett Chavis, age 66, of Carthage, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Cox Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM with Pastor John Brown officiating. A time of visitation will immediately follow the service.
Sandy was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on October 5, 1959 to the late Benjamin and Marguerite Nicks Bennett.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Tony Chavis; son, Nelson Cuevas of Randleman, NC; daughters, Kelly McGraw (Chance) of Cameron and Toni Chavis of Vass; grandchildren, Emmalyn and Eli.
